Excellent New Resource for Children's Ministry

Robert Keeley serves a local church in children's ministry; in addition he serves on the faculty of a Christian university. So he not only teaches, he practices: His learning comes from experience as well as a lifetime of study and research.
"Helping Our Children Grow in Faith" is an excellent new resource for all who serve in children's ministry: VBS, Sunday School, pastors and staff, plus volunteers. The book takes the process of faith development (see Robert Fowler and others) and applies this learning to children and their process of growth. A helpful integration: Keeley is a skilled teacher.
Clearly written and immediately useful, this book deserves a place on the shelf of anyone who works with children, and who cares about faith formation and value-based learning.
