I just got this book on Kindle and can't put it down. There is so much information here on awareness, what makes us unhappy, and how our thoughts control us. There have been so many moments where I relate to what he's saying and say, "Yesss!" or "Aha, that's so true!" and I'm not even halfway through. I've read a lot of spiritual authors, from Byron Katie to Eckhart Tolle, and I find Meeting the Mystery one of the most inspiring works. Thank you Nirmala. Time to get back and read the rest.

Very helpful book

I found this book to be very helpful. I have read quite a number of books on Spirituality & Consciousness & I found new insights in this book. The author sheds new light on familiar ideas & presents new ideas, all with an ease & lightness. He answered a question I have had for a long time (allowing vs doing) in a simple & satisfying way. A couple days after reading it, I was feeling impatient, an issue that has come up before. I spontaneously used his technique (observing with light, curious questioning), had an insight and the impatience just dissolved. I feel an expanded peace & understanding. I recommend this book.
