This is an overview of the actual book “The First 90 Days.“ Kind of like an abbreviated Cliff's Notes for the full book. It provides a potential reader enough information regarding this book’s content to determine if we want to invest the extra money and time to actually buy and read the entire book. The author has written an impressive manual of key lessons for young, aspiring, executive hopefuls. There are apparently many important tips and useful bits of wisdom to assist you on your 'managerial' climb. At .99 cents, this summary is a good value, which is one of the reasons I have personally found “Instaread” to be a useful service.

"The First 90 Days" is a handbook for the executive in transition. It provides lessons and examples for the optimal way to successfully enter a new company, position, or role. Above all, making a strong transition in the first 90 days can be the difference between long-term success in that role and a spiral into failure that can haunt an executive's reputation wherever he or she may go.
This Instaread review was perfect for me because, surprise, I'm not an executive. In fact, I don't ever plan on being one. But there are still lessons to be learned from the higher ups who deal with change and uncertainty on a daily basis. Which is why I read this review instead of the actual book: it condensed the lessons I could learn into bite-sized chunks, and was much cheaper and quicker to read. I enjoyed reading the 8 key takeaways and found this summary to be refreshing and motivational!
